Payment Clause (Retainer-Based)
1. Retainer Fee: Example: The client agrees to pay a recurring retainer fee of $1200 per month which covers 192 hours of work during that period.
2. Additional Work: Any hours worked beyond the retainer agreement will be billed at an hourly rate of $20/h.
3. Billing Cycle: The retainer fee is due in advance, and invoices will be sent at the start of each month. Payment must be made within 14 days of receiving the invoice.
4. Cancellation: Either party may cancel the retainer agreement with 14 days’ notice, but the retainer fee for the upcoming period is non-refundable if the notice is given after the start of that period.
